Gold Coast Science Network (GCSN) is a chapter of the California Association of Science Educators (CASE) serving Region 3: Ventura County and Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Los Angeles, and Kern Counties.

OUR PURPOSE

Our purpose is to support the community and individuals in cultivating scientific literacy. We encourage scientific thinking, processes, and practices. How do we do this?

• through programs, such as conferences

• developing individuals, leadership skills

• fostering ongoing networking and collaboration

• increasing awareness of science literacy resources and opportunities
